  19. “God wants to be ours, too, although He is often unable to get our attention because of our feverishly maintained noise levels. Flip on the TV. Turn up the stereo. Snap on the Walkman. Wind up the RPMs. As a result there remains no quiet place in our heads for reflective thoughts, and we are too distracted to hear the still small voice. We crave noise. ‘We need it,’ we say, ‘to kill the boredom.’” Lynn Anderson (preacher and author)

  25. Conclusion and Summary Seldom does appearance mean so little to us today... BUT to God, He always has, does and will look on the heart. Saul looked the part but David had the heart! Each of us this morning will either be a David or a Saul. Right NOW is the time to decide which!
