  5. Cradle Build Up • Objective • Move Cell 30 Equipment • Installation SOW to Feeder line • (5 SOIs) • Goal • 18 hrs saved per cradle on • the Airplane vsFeeder line • Less people on the Airplane • Improved ergonomics • (overhead vs bench installation)

Results…. • Equipment added additional 29lbs to the Cradle. • Final weight of the Cradle is observed to be 81lbs. • 2 MTs hand carried the Cradle from feeder area to the assembly on the airplane. • 2 MTs had to struggle to support the Cradle and to locate the fasteners. • Recommendations • 3 MTs must be performing the Cradle installation process. • Tool assist to carry the Cradle is recommended.

  10. Team Metrics Our efforts contribute to Cell 20’s overall decrease in JBS and their ability to consistently “live in the green”
