  2. NYCTOPHOBIA is when you fear darkness. You are likely to suffer from NYCTOPHOBIA if you become nervous in any darkened environment. If your NYCTOPHOBIA is severe, you may tend to run away from dark rooms and avoid being outside at night. You might become angry or defensive if someone tries to encourage you to spend time in the dark. You will likely experience an increased heart rate, sweat, shake or fell ill if you are forced to be in the dark. Symptoms of nyctophobia

  3. When you go to bed, you may take a nightlight along with you. Take a picture of you with a flash so that you still can see light around you. This is a physical treatment known as flooding. You may consume anti-anxiety medications. (if prescribed) Change your negative thoughts about the dark and try to think that it’s just normal. Make yourself relaxed. If you are still scared of the dark, always tell yourself that there is light around you. Treatment for NYCTOPHOBIA
