3. NS profile

4. competency • Register Nurses (All) • Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (4) • Master degree of Science(1) counseling psychology • Neonatal- Pediatrics Critical care nurses (3)

5. Specific competency (the must) • Attend the training, conference in the critical newborn care • Pass the job training of neonatal CPR • The knowledge in using and maintaining equipment in NICU

6. Criteria • High risk newborn or tend to have critical illness • 0-7 day-olds Newborn who are less than 2,000 gram • The newborn who needs special procedures such as Blood exchange, partial exchange, intensive photo therapy

7. Criteria • The newborn who needs close observation such as convulsion, apnea, sepsis, very low birth weight but no ventilator support, etc. • The newborn who has chronic illness such as BPD, genetics problem

8. criteria • The newborn who need help in development promotion such as poor sucking, poor muscle tone or high muscle contraction • The newborn who has surgery problem and need to be care before refer to another hospital

9. Staff per turn 8 am- 4 pm 3 nurses , 2 aide 4 pm-12 pm 2 nurses, 1 aide 12 pm-8 am 2 nurses, 1 aide
