  3. ANIMAL WORLD

  4. Leopard • A panther can be any of several species of large felids: the term can refer to cougars and jaguars in the American continents; and everywhere else, to leopards.[6] • The generic component of its modern scientific designation, Panther padres, is derived from Latin via Greek πάνθηρ panther.[7] Folk etymology held that it was a compound of παν pan ("all") and θηρ ("beast").[8] However, it is believed instead to derive from an Indo-Iranian word meaning "white-yellow, pale"; in Sanskrit, this word's reflex was पाण्डर pāṇḍara, from which was derived पुण्डरीक puṇḍárīka ("tiger", among other things), then borrowed into Greek.[

  5. Axolotl • The axolotl , Ambystoma mexicanum, is the best known of the Mexican neotenic mole salamanders belonging to the Tiger Salamander complex. Larvae of this species fail to undergo metamorphosis, so the adults remain aquatic and gilled. The species originates from the lake underlying Mexico City and is also called ajolote (which is also the common name for the Mexican Mole Lizard). Axolotls are used extensively in scientific research due to their ability to regenerate most body parts, ease of breeding, and large embryos. They are commonly kept as pets

  6. Parrot • Characteristic features of parrots include a strong curved bill, an upright stance, strong legs, and clawed zygodactyls feet. Most parrots are predominantly green, with other bright colors, and some species are multi-colored. Cockatoo species range from mostly white to mostly black, and have a mobile crest of feathers on the top of their heads. Most parrots exhibit little or no sexual dimorphism. They are the most variably sized bird order in terms of length

  7. Draco (genus) • Draco is a genus of gliding agamid lizard from Southeast Asia. The ribs and their connecting membrane can be extended to create a wing, the hind limbs are flattened and wing-like in cross-section, and a small set of flaps on the neck serve as a horizontal stabilizer. Draco are arboreal insectivores. Glides as long as 60m have been recorded, over which the animal loses only 10m in height, which is quite some distance when you consider that one of these lizards is only around 20cm long. • The only time a flying lizard ventures to the ground is when a female is ready to lay her eggs.

  8. Opinions • These arachnids are known for their exceptionally long walking legs, compared to body size, although there are also short-legged species. The difference between harvestmen and spiders is that in harvestmen the two main body sections are broadly joined, so that they appear to be one oval structure; they also have no venom or silk glands. In more advanced species, the first five abdominal segments are often fused into a dorsal shield called the sputum, which is normally fused with the carapace. Sometimes this shield is only present in males.
