Parent Involvement • Decades of research show that when parents are involved students have: • Higher grades, test scores, and graduation rates • Better school attendance • Increased motivation, better self-esteem • Lower rates of suspension • Decreased use of drugs and alcohol • Fewer instances of violent behavior

Parent Involvement Why it is Important for you to work with your scholar at home • Building a stronger foundation for their future by shaping a better educated child. • Complementing what your scholar is learning in school will help solidify the information gained. • Having fun hands-on activities to do at home with your scholar makes learning exciting!
