  2. Online UNL courses for Nebraska high school students. Created as a partnership linking UNL to Nebraska secondary schools, Advanced Scholars allows high school students to earn credit from UNL before setting foot on campus. Advanced Scholars exposes students to a “next level” academic experience and builds on concepts and skills established in high school courses. Students benefit from a unique learning opportunity bridging their high school and college environments. ADVANCED SCHOLARS

  3. Advanced Scholars Courses: Sharpen students’ academic abilities Allow students to work directly with UNL faculty Provide interesting and valuable experiences with technology and dynamic media Introduce students to a college experience, allowing for an easier transition to their Freshman year Are considered general education courses, meaning the classes don’t tie students to a specific major ADVANCED SCHOLARS

  4. How Advanced Scholars Works: A Nebraska high school decides to partner with UNL to offer its students Advanced Scholars courses. With the approval of the school, interested students apply to the program. Once accepted, students can register for classes, order books and prepare for their courses, which follow the regular UNL semester.
