  12. Characteristics: 1. Strokes, splotches, or dots of color vs. lines 2. Bright colors, little to no black 3. Common people doing common things outside (usually) 4. Landscapes/Cityscapes

  13. Assignment #1 Create an impressionist style composition using watercolor paint. Your composition will be graded on the following: 1. Does the comp utilize strokes to create images? (10 points) 2. Can we make out what the images are? (10 points) 3. Does the comp utilize an impressionist color scheme? (10 points)
