Who are we ? • Specialist in landbased only college • 8 miles north of Ipswich in a rural location • Great transport links to the College • Great facilities on site • Merged with Easton College in August 2012 to become a single institution • Wide range of courses at a variety of different levels: • Schools (from Yr10), Full Time Courses, • Part time courses, Foundation Degrees, Leisure courses, • Commercial courses, Apprenticeships • Across both campuses, collectively we have been providing high quality education for over 100 years.

What we offer We offer a wide range of excellent courses across both campuses in: • Agriculture • Agricultural Engineering • Animal Management & Veterinary Nursing • Apprenticeships • Arboriculture • Construction • Countryside Management • Equine • Fisheries – Easton Campus only • Floristry • Foundation Learning • Game Keeping – Easton Campus only • Higher Education • Horticulture • Level 1 courses • Motor Vehicle & Engineering • Pre-foundation studies • Sports – Easton Campus only • Uniformed Public Services – Easton Campus only

What is an apprenticeship? • Gaining a qualification and get workplace experience • Earn as you learn • Apprenticeships last between 12 – 24 months • We offer Edge Apprenticeships • 3 Levels of Apprenticeships • Level 2 Apprenticeship • Level 3 Apprenticeship (advanced) • Level 4 Apprenticeship (higher) • All apprenticeship vacancies are advertised on www.apprenticeships.org.uk

  5. Our Apprenticeships We offer apprenticeships in a wide range of areas: • Agriculture • Construction • Engineering • Equine • Floristry • Food Manufacturing • Horticulture • Hospitality • Professional Studies in Administration, Customer Service, Team Leading, Management

Our Edge Apprenticeships • Dedicated apprenticeship in Food & Farming • Edge Apprenticeships takes between 12-36 months to complete • Dedicated support from the Edge Team • City & Guilds Diploma in work-based Agriculture/Horticulture • Levels 2, 3 and 4 progression available • Earn whilst you learn • Day release at college • Gain industry qualifications – emergency first aid, tractor driving to name but a few!

  7. Our Edge Apprenticeships • Level 1 – no formal entry requirements, however a keen interest in the subject field. • Level 2 – 4 GCSEs grade D or above or a Level 1 qualification with functional skills • Level 3 – 4 GCSEs Grade C or above or a Level 2 qualification
