Dr. Ronak Mehta created Nerdbugs, a collection of stuffed organs, to help patients and their loved ones cope with difficult diagnoses. “I would really ultimately like to one day create a program like toms shoes..where each one is purchased one could be donated,” Dr. Mehta said.  “Almost like a charitable component to a nearby. hospital or to a kid in a transplant ward… so that’s what my next step is,” she added.
