9. Vision Statement Understanding and using technology in the 21st century is an integral part of each day and each students life. As professionals in the educational field we must strive to meet the demand for a diversified, prepared, and educated workforce and moreover society. Today’s students are tomorrows future leaders. We must lead these individuals to their fullest potential to be successful in the technological classroom and world.

10. Vision and goals Using technology we envision our goals as: • Students are comfortable with technology and its’ use in the classroom and world. This will aid in our success of SOL testing, No Child Left Behind, accreditation, and AYP (Annual Yearly Progress) • Students can accept responsibility of all technology uses and capabilities and use it in a safe, responsible manner. We must teach up to date information as the newest information ages very quickly. • Educators must be well prepared. Learning how to use technology through training, real world applications, hands on experience and collaboration will allow a educators to play an active role in student success!

Goals (con’t.) • Teachers will be provided opportunity to enhance technology knowledge for use in teaching environment. • Administrators will promote technology by providing equipment, hardware, software, and training and updates to teachers. This will allow the ability to involve parents/guardians, community, and business.
