  4. Analects • superior … • sets ex. for inferior • looks after inferior • values: • family (filial piety= duty/respect children owe parents) • community over individual • loyalty, courtesy, hard work, service • education

  5. Analects Analysis Activity • Groups of 2-3 students • 2-3 analects per group • For each analect: • Explain what it means in your own words. • Identify which (if any) of the 5 relationships it represents. • Choose 1 of the analects to present to the class.
