If tutor’s name is not on the register, please write tutor’s name CLEARLY in the left column under lead’s name.
  • Please sign, date and score each session. If a student has not signed a register, it is automatically assumed that the student was absent from the session as it is the students individual responsibility to make sure they sign the register.

The information recorded on the

registers is important as it

  • highlights any problems early on
cancelled dna sessions
Cancelled/DNA Sessions
  • If the session is not delivered please tick the appropriate tutor’s name and indicate DNA or cancelled on the register. If the session was DNA or cancelled students who are present should sign the register to confirm their presence.
  • For every cancelled or DNA session you must inform the Undergraduate office.
absences
Absences
  • If the student who looks after the group registers is absent the group still has to provide a register. It is advisable for another group member to also keep copies of blank registers.
  • All student absences are recorded. Students are required to inform the office about any future absences they expect to occur.
  • In the case of ill health students must inform the Undergraduate office. A self-certification form (for absence of up to 5 working days) must be completed on your return. This form is available on your encrypted USB stick. Longer absences require a doctor’s note.
