  1. Welcome to London Выполнила: ученица 10 класса Тихомирова Анна

  2. There are two reasons why we want to visit London. The first reason is that in London there live friendly people. The other reason is that London has a huge variety of sights. Now we will tell you about all the sights of London.

  3. The Tower of London The Tower was built in the 11th century by William the Conqueror. It used to be a fortress, royal palace and a prison. Nowadays it is a museum where the Crown Jewels are kept.

  4. Buckingham Palace The London residence of the British Queen Elizabeth II and her royal family. Outside you can see the ceremony of Changing the Guard every day at 11.30

  5. Tower Bridge One of the most famous London bridges. It is close to the Tower of London. It became a symbol of London. It consists of two towers. Middle part can be open to let big ships to pass

  6. Big Ben Big Ben is really the name of the bell of the clock. It’s called after Sir Benjamin Hall, a big man, whose job was to see that the bell was put on. It’s the biggest bell in Britain. And you can hear it’s deep boom every hour.

  7. WestminsterAbbey The coronation church of all English kings and queens. It was built by the King Edward in 1065. Many famous poets of England are buried there in Poet's Corner

  8. London is wonderful city!
