  2. INTRODUCTION We have taken the data from the from many students of our college discussion their means of transport for studying college. We studied the amount of time taken by the students and cost of transport to reach to college. We have also suggested the various changes that can be taken in order to make the travel more efficient & cheaper.

  5. Her address is Flat No. 107 lehna market ,kamla nagar ,Delhi-110007. She takes 5 minutes to reach to college from her home. She spends 0 money in travel expense because she reached to college by walking. Yogesh Hisaddress is -Chandrawal village , kamla nagar , Delhi-110007. He takes 15 minutes to reach to college. He spends 0 money because he reached to college by walking. Navepreet

  6. Vikash He lives in hansraj college hostel. He reaches college in 1 min. As he come by foot. Vishal He lives in kasana PG in kamla nagar. He reaches college in 5 min. As he comes by walking. Allen He lives in jawahar nagar. He reaches to college in 2 min. By walking.

  7. Damini She lives in Roop nagar. She reached to college in 10 min.by rickshaw. Mohd.Issa He lives in malka ganj. He comes to college in 10 min. By walking. Nitish He lives in chandrawal kamlanagar. He reached to college in 3 min. By walking.

  8. MERITS HEALTH BENEFITS ;- The various health benefits of travelling smart by walking or cycling are. Improve quality of life &life expectancy among adults. Reduces the risk of heart diseases &strokes. Reduces the symptoms of deepression and anxiety. Helps in maintain a healthy weight. If we free from diseases we lead to happy life.

FINANCIAL BENEFITS;-Fuel is the major cost associated withthe driving our own vechicles. • Walking and travelling by cycling is quite benificial because it ie financially quite viable. • Travelling by rickshaw is cheaper mode of transportation and it provide employment to poor peoples and free from pollution. • ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFITS;-Travelling by cycling,walking and rickshaw will create pollution free environment. • Vehicles emits gases like CO and CO2 which contribute to global warming. So using cycling, walking & richshaw is better to prevent pollution.

  10. Advantages of public transport It is very economical. As taking buses & trains is cheaper than using private cars. It is more environmental frendly. It reduces pollution as there less vehicles driving on the road and then ther will be lesser fumes and less traffic jams. One of the safety way of travelling br reducing the accidents as on bikes. It is easily accessible to most of the peoples.

  11. Disadvantages of public transport Using public transport is inconvinent as it can be crowded. For instance during rush hour buses &metro trains are heavenly crowded. Many a times theives travel through these public transport & hence its not to preferable in case of safety from theives and comfort. Public transport do not operates 24 hr.In a day.

  12. Suggested changes Instead of using auto students should travel by rickshaw or electric rickshaw because they are pollution free. Instead of travelling alone, students should travel in agroup so that fare gets divided. Students who travel by buses should get bus passes made so that so that they can travel fairly cheaper.
