  4. Metod och material • Antal patienter (typ II fel) • Mätvariabler – rimliga, pålitliga • Mätvariabler – kliniskt relevanta • Korrekt statistik : - multipla associationer - testen viktigare än resultat

  5. Resultat • Korrekt beskrivning av basdata – patienter, sjukhus etc • Randomisering – bias • Stämmer siffror? • Effektmätning – signifikant statistik • Huvudfynd – reellt? (confounders) • Subgruppsanalys

  6. Diskussion • Rimlig diskussion av fynd i relation till litteratur och tidigare arbeten (bias) • Vad betyder resultaten för min verksamhet? • Är resultaten generaliserbara – kan jag upprepa?

  7. Portfölj uppgift • Redogör kort för studien • Bedöm följande: • Definition av mål • Material storlek • Metodbeskrivning • Statistik • Effekt • Svagheter/styrkor Kommer jag att följa resultaten i mitt kliniska handlande?
