Ways I’m using Evernote • Making note of something I may forget later – recipe, favorite restaurant, picture I may want to reference later • Phone log and To Do List • Pdf files I want to be able to reference often • Notes for students • Easy way to transfer information until I can put it where I want it

  4. Getting Started • Log into Evernote.com from any computer or smartphone • Create an account – user name and password • A basic account is free • Premium accounts are $4.95 per month • Add your Evernote account to your other devices

  5. Create a Notebook • Notebooks allow you to easily store and access your pages. • Notebooks can contain text, files, pictures, pdfs, or voice recordings. • Notebooks can be shared or emailed.

  6. From file select New Notebook Give the notebook a title

  7. Let’s get started: Add a note • From a mobile device – click or New Note from your computer or iPad • Provide a title • Designate a notebook • You can add tags and locations for easy search access • Begin typing your note

  8. Add a picture • From your phone: open Evernote, select new note, go to camera or camera roll at the top, and take your picture. • From your computer: copy and paste, or drag a picture from your file into a new note • From the web: select a page or photo, copy and paste into a new note.

  9. Evernote Email address This is your Evernote email address. Items sent to this address will go into your main notebook unless you designate a speci Go to Tools - Account Info. The above screen will pop up.

  10. Let’s get started: Add a email • From email: Computer – preview or view email. Click on Add to Evernote 4 • From email on iPad: Forward your email to your Evernote account • Subject: @ designates notebook; # adds tags

  11. Share a Notebook First click on Shared. Once column is blue, select Manage Sharing. This screen will appear. Select the notebook you want to share.

  12. Select Share with Individuals

  13. From Notebook page, select Edit.

  14. Then, Click the send arrow. First, select a notebook to share.
