The North West Ambulance Service is dedicated to delivering seamless urgent care across a vast region. With a population of 7 million over 5,400 square miles, our services include a 999 paramedic emergency service, patient transport, and emergency preparedness. We employ over 5,200 staff and handle more than 1.1 million 999 calls yearly. Our focus includes addressing overwhelming demand for urgent care and improving public expectations management, while ensuring high-quality emergency services and robust patient transport systems.
