  3. Shifts Mean a Change in Practice! Shifting from content knowledge primarily from teacher-led lecture To building knowledge through a balance of reading, writing lecture, and hands-on experience

  4. Rename the Standards • What can I do to help students read documents required for career success? • How do I design meaningful writing opportunities that demonstrate the type of thinking required for a career?

  5. Rename the Standards ACTIVITY: Choose 1-5 words that rename/summarize each standard. These should be easily accessible to students
