Background • Creek Flash Baseball began in April 2013 with one team (13s) , and posted a record of 4-14-1 • Grew to five teams this year (10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s) • Six tournament wins so far in 2014 and a 49-55-3 record! • 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, tax-deductible donations • Separate from (but closely connected to) CCLL • All Flash players required to play CCLL for league season

  4. Background(continued) • Our Mission: • Develop skilled baseball players and great young men • Keep players in CCLL and raise the overall level of play • Offer a competitive tournament baseball option at a reasonable price • Grow more franchise teams in the future (ages 8 through 13)

Year-Round Commitment • June 2014: Parent Information Meeting (tonight!) • August 2014: Tryouts to Make a Flash Team • August 15th, 16th, and 17th at Mission Viejo Park from 6-8pm • NEW: multiple teams at each age division • Coach application and team assignments • 11-player rosters, locked for the season • Full-time players vs. Replacement players • $325 check for winter training (returned if player does not make a team) • Notification to families by Monday, August 18th

Year-Round Commitment(continued) • September - October 2014: Fall Ball • Sunday league or Flash scrimmages • $200 or less, might be free! • November 2014 - March 2015: Winter Training • Slammers South at Arapahoe and Peoria • Two-for-One Sibling Discount • Friday nights: Two sessions (5-7pm and 7-9pm), use of 7 tunnels, 3-4 professional coaches, strength and conditioning room, and pitching room • Sunday afternoons: 2-5pm, use of 7 tunnels, reserved field 3-4pm • Unlimited tokens for batting cages, for the entire year • Unlimited use of tunnels, for the entire year (when unoccupied)

Year-Round Commitment(continued) • March – June 2015: CCLL Regular Season and Flash Tournaments • CCLL: usual fees paid separately, usual CCLL Majors teams and games • Flash: minimum of 7 competitive tournaments on weekends scheduled around CCLL games; end-of-season banquet • July 2015: CCLL All-Stars

Estimated costs:$1200 - $1500 Required Player Items Optional Items Extra Baseball Gear and/or Spirit-Wear Additional Tourneys (per coach decision) Travel Costs (mileage, hotel, meals, etc.) • Insurance $ 20 • Fall Ball $200 or less • Winter Training $325 (sibling discount) • Club Expenses $100 (admin/comm) • Uniforms $150 • Tourneys (7) $400-$550

Financial support,sponsorship programs • Business Sponsorship Program - $30K raised in 2014! • $100 = Box Seat Level (certificate, banquet, spirit wear) • $250 = Dugout Level (plaque, website/Facebook, banquet, spirit wear) • $500 = Clubhouse Level (banner advertising plus all other benefits) • $1,000 = VIP Suite Level (premier banner ad and customizable benefits) • $5,000 = Owner’s Box Level (team naming rights plus all other benefits) • All funds MUST be in the form of a business check or corporate PayPal • Friends-and-Family Sponsorships • Can be made in any amount, personal checks accepted • Scholarships • Supplemental support only, application required, case-by-case approval

Creek flash scholar program • Designed to reward and inspire our players to continue their education and to give back to their community • During Creek Flash 13s baseball season, develop a project idea • Application, interview with the committee for approval • Minimum 20 volunteer service hours annually (1-2 hours per month each year, for four years of high school) • Check in regularly with non-family adult mentor • College acceptance letter = $1000 from Creek Flash Baseball!
