  3. O say can you see by the dawn’s early light,

  4. What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming;

  5. Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilousfight,

  6. O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantlystreaming?

  7. And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,

  8. Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,

  9. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave

  10. O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
