Everything changed when the environment was made free to use for the public by the end of 2004.   3. Nothing is perfect and thus needs constant improvements in the development cycle. Similar was the case with the Software Testing Framework as well. At the early stages Software was not so updated or efficient in testing. The platform suffered from some errors or bugs that made it difficult to use for testing certain browser environments.

  4. The users started to increase drastically with the fixation of the bugs in the software. The bugs like broken Select Window in the 0.1.2 release of the Software were fixed. Being open-source, the popularity of the software increased among the engineers and the users.

  6. Software Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is an extension developed by Shinya Kasatani in 2006 which is a record and play solution for Firefox. User is free to start and stop the recordings and perform the actions accordingly.
