PARTICIPATION STRATEGY OF KEY STAKEHOLDERS • Community Participation: Active Participation in Design of any subproject • IFAD: Financial Institution dedicated to eradicating poverty and hunger in rural area • Government of India and Maharashtra: Convergence Policy formulation • SRTT: Dedicated to Capacity building and Rural Development • NGOs/ PRIVATE PLAYERS : Effective and successful project design and Implementation • Banks/Financial institutions : Timely Credit for rural poor

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PMU PMU is based at Amravati and will be responsible for • Overall responsibility of Management of CAIM programme • Management of funds flow, • Obtaining the requisite funds for the formulation of policies and guidelines, • Project supervision and monitoring, • Recruiting senior staff, and project consultants, • services of NGOs and Resource Institutions etc. • Periodic Reporting to Government of Maharashtra, Government of India, IFAD and SRTT

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PSU • Project Support Unit is created in the MSAMB, Pune. • The PSU is responsible for establishing contacts with respective heads of departments located in Pune to ensure convergence of funds and also forwarding the withdrawal applications to the Ministry of Finance.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DPMT The DPMT will be entrusted with the responsibility for - DPR Formulation along with Implementing Agency • Management of all activities to be undertaken in the project area • Convergence with all ongoing schemes and build homogenous relations with Line Department • Periodic Reporting to PMU • Must be well acclimatized with agronomics, climatic, Government Schemes, programmes and more importantly Market functionaries
