  2. Requests to be on the agenda, or all senate-related matters, must be sent to me by noon on Monday. • If a consitution is being presented, send it first to Daniella (Club Coordinator), then to me AND Rebekah Kerr (IT Coordinator) • We must be at senate until 7:30, or it will be counted as an absence, unless you have an alternate to fill in for you. • Your are here to represent your club/hall! Senate is a forum for relevant events, so please pass on any information you learn here back for communication to be most efficient. • When talking please talk clearly and be concise for the senate mminutes to be as accurate as possible.

  3. You can not vote without a paddle! Its in the constitution!! Therefore, if you have an alternate you must give them your paddle. • You also can not hold more than two voting seats in senate. So an alternate can not represent two parties. • If you miss 3 senate meetings, your club is considered inactive! So come to senate. • Everyone other than hall senators must give a “semester report” at the end of each semester. However, semester reports can not be given on the last senate. • Speak up! Even if you don’t hold a voting seat in senate you can still participate!!

  4. Senators (hall/class) must be a part of a faculty committee. You have the option to choose and if you do not and there are spots emopty for those positions, it will be appointed to you. So stay after senate today and sign up! It’ll be quick, I promise . • Also, committee members must give a semester report. • If you are interested in being in a committee even If you are not a senator you are welcome to stay after as well! • Committees -Student Life Council (2 members) -Human Relations Committee (2 members) must have a 2nd year standing or above • -Diversity Initiative Board (2 members) • -Environmental Advisory Board (2 members) one member must be apart of SEA or the Community Garden • -Food Service Committee (5 members) • -Constitutional Review Committee (2 members) Agenda
