SharePoint 2010 Lessons Learned Posted ratings aren’t available until timer job runs; by default this is hours, not seconds SharePoint Designer 2010  Page corruption, data loss, and crashing not uncommon. For dataviews, take the XSL out of the page and refer to it via link; export web parts often and/or copy page content into VS for safekeeping. Team Site default is now Wiki – we used the team site template with wiki feature disabled
