  2. 1. The Cosby Show • Consists of a mother and a father • Together they have 5 children • They all live together in 1 home • The mother is a lawyer and the father is a doctor • They work out their problems as a family

  3. 2. Roseanne • The Connor Family • Consists of a mother and a father • Together they have 3 children • Both parents are often out of work and go from one job to another • They often fight and have serious issues to face • The oldest daughter runs away to get married

  4. 3. Full House • The Tanner Family • Single dad with 3 daughters • Jesse, the uncle, Joey, the friend of dad, and all the Tanners all live in the same house • Jesse later marries Becky and they have 2 children • The adults in the family share in the responsibilities of the house.

  5. 4. Family Matters • The Winslow Family • 1 mother and 1 father • They have 2 children • Both parents work • Also in their home is Carl’s mother, Harriet’s sister and her son. They later bring in a foster child. • And Steve Erkle is always around.

The Brady Bunch • One day this lady met this fellow and they each had three children to bring into the marriage. • The father was an architect and the mother stayed at home. • They had a housekeeper named Alice that also lived with the family. • The family works together when there is a crisis.

  7. 6. The Simpsons • A mom and a dad with 3 children. • They all live together in the same house. • Homer works at the Nuclear Plant and mom stays at home. • Bart is always in some sort of trouble and Maggie is usually neglected.

  8. 7. The Nanny • A single dad with 3 children • The Nanny lives with them and she marries the dad and they have twins • The butler lives with them • The Nanny seems to have dilemmas all the time.

  9. 8. George Lopez • George is married to Angie and they have 2 children. • George’s mother is often around but does not live with the family. • George is a manager and Angie is a wedding planner. • They do not have control of their teenage children especially Carmen.

  10. 9. Reba • Reba is divorced with 3 children. • Her oldest daughter gets pregnant in high school and she marries the father and they all live with Reba. • Reba’s ex and his new wife are always at the house. • The new wife does not mind her own business.

  11. 10. Fresh Prince of Bel Air • The Banks Family • A mom and a dad and 4 children • Will, a nephew, comes to live with the family • He causes total chaos within the family • Dad is a lawyer and mom is a professor
