  1. Ignite and Inspire Rotorua Rumaki Initiative

  2. Workshop Intention: • Let’s discuss a newly developed initiative for Rumaki and bilingual classroom teachers to connect and share ideas, experiences and resources. This type of initiative may be just what you’d like to develop across schools near you, remember with the power of the internet you don‘t need to be logistically close to other schools anymore! This is also your chance to see what iPad Apps I have shared with this group and how these apps will not only cater for your tamariki but also lift student engagement, motivation and achievement.

  3. Why: • RCICT • Town and Country Cluster • Feedback to inform next steps. • What worked well, what didn’t? • Where to next? • Who’s it for?

  4. Who and What: Aka Rumaki

  5. When: • Group meets face to face one day a term. • Meetings are structured - including networking, sharing, e-learning, exploring new things, keeping a record online. • Forward thinking, planning ahead, accessing groups needs.
