Contracting Office Resources Structure Headquarters • HQ – Facilities Division • Composition • - (2) Branch Chief • - (17) Contract Specialists • - (4) Procurement Technician • Routing from the Branch Chief to the Specialists is based on projects that have received appropriations. • HQ – Acquisition & Property • Composition • - (1) Branch Chief • - (2) Section Heads • - (12) Contract Specialists • - (3) Purchasing Agents • Routing from the Section Heads to the Specialists is based 95% on dollar value and 5% on complexity of the requisition.

ARS HQ, Location and Area BPA Call Process • The BPA Call process maps to existing processes • There are 2 types of BPAs: • - Micro-purchases <$2,500 • - Terms & Conditions • A hybrid of these two types exist when the BPA is setup using the purchase order method and credit card is used for payment • - For large calls, the simplified acquisition process is used. • - For small calls, orders can be placed over the phone. • Obligations can be made upfront with a draw down of funds • Calls are lumped into a single payment • ARS processes a lot of FedEx transactions
