Website • BBC Three must adhere to specific regulations in order to get funding and have their licence fee. For example, they are expected to represent all people and demographics: all cultures, all ethnicities, all religions, all classes etc. • Their drop-down menu promotes the different genres and categories of TV that they offer, such as comedy, documentaries etc. However, they have specific genres, such as the LGBTQ+, that has a diverse and inclusive focus and thus fulfil the requirements of the license fee.
BBC Licence Fee • Downing street intend to scrap the BBC license fee and instead want the viewers to pay a subscription. They are also demanding a downsize, supposedly resulting in the selling of most of their radio stations. However, BBC boss, Lord Hall, believes that the BBC licence fee, despite criticism, will not be scrapped.
