  1. What are Permitted Development Drawings?

  2. Not all improvements or changes you are willing to add to your house require a specific planning department's permission. There are numerous drawings or changes that you will be allowed to carry out via an implied consent. This consent is termed as Permitted Development.  Permitted Development allows the homeowners to come with Permitted Development Drawings or specific works without sending a formal application to the planning commission. There are numerous innovative chances where Permitted Development rights can ensure important advantages for someone willing to modify their existing property. Besides, this renders ample freedom to someone willing to maximize the investment return from a new property.  This permission on behalf of the PD is granted as per the rules of General Development Planning Orders. The GDPOs are applicable separately within Wales, Northern Ireland, England, and Scotland. Suppose your home is built within a designated area like a conservation area, national park, or an area of outstanding beauty. In that case, your PD rights can be removed as per the directions of Article 4. Also, in this case, your PD rights can be confined.

  3. Types of Permitted Development Rights The PD rights of a homeowner can fall under different categories and vary as per the work that is being planned. These rights permit the homeowner to construct a side single-story extension measuring up to half of the old dwelling's width. For example, a rear extension measuring up to 4m is permitted for a detached property, while a 3m extension is allowed for a terrace or semi house. In specific conditions, up to 3m rear two-story extensions are permitted.  How much will be the cost to have my house's plans drawn up? The variance in planning drawings cost can occur due to several factors. You may be a homeowner who doesn't have existing drawings of your house, or you are willing to convert the new ideas for your house into professional architectural drawings.  In the case of today's architectural scenarios, if you are willing to convert your existing space or adding an extension, you'll have to plan drawings for your home. These drawings should be able to comply with the CAD format. Consequently, these drawings' CAD format can be used during building regulation, designing, and planning.  In the absence of CAD drawings, a measured survey will be undertaken. This step will require the surveyors to visit your property and note the measurements of your existing home.  Thank You Source URL: https://uberant.com/article/1339060-what-are-permitted-development-drawings?/
