  4. Avoid Food and Drinks that Stain Your Teeth • Our teeth can be stained from the foods and drinks that we consume. • Some of the foods and drinks that stain your teeth are coffee, tea, softdrinks, fruit juices, red wine and red beets. • You can consume these foods and drinks from time to time but it is important to remember to brush your teeth after 30 minutes of consuming them or swish some water in your mouth to remove the residue.

  5. Take Care of Your Enamel • Enamel is the outer layer of your teeth, if you damage it your teeth will appear yellowish. This happens when your enamel wears away. • Acidic foods and drinks can damage your enamel, try to avoid acidic foods and drinks if not lessen your consumption. Examples of these acidic foods and drinks are white wine, beer, lemon water, fruit juice, apple cider vinegar. • When drinking acidic drinks, use straw so that your teeth will be protected and swish some water afterwards.

  6. Stay Hydrated • Drinking enough water during the day can help keep your teeth white. • Not only can water hydrate your body, it can also protect your teeth from stains by flushing them away. • Drinking water after your meal can also help protect your enamel especially if you're eating acidic foods.

  7. Brush Properly and Regularly • To avoid cavities and plaque, dentists recommended to brush your teeth at least twice a day. Take your time when you are brushing your teeth. • Don't be in a rush. Make sure you cover all the areas including brushing your tongue. • Brush your teeth properly and regularly keep your teeth white.
