By 2050, 65% of Venezuelans will lack access to potable water due to unequal distribution, wasteful use, and pollution. The situation worsens with no desalination plants. In 2025, water scarcity triggers wars and skyrockets water prices. After a UN Committee on Clean Water is formed, the planet loses 1/3 of its population due to the crisis. With a 40% population surge in Venezuela, urgent action like desalination, water reservation, and ocean usage is imperative to avert a national disaster.

Venezuela 2050 No access to potable water for 65% of the population of this country. Only 5% of the amount of water needed for our people to survive can be obtained in the country. We don’t convert saline water to potable water.
The background of the problem • Population growth
The background of the problem • Unequal distribution
The background of the problem • Using water in a profligate way
The background of the problem • Water contamination
The background of the problem • No water desalination
What happened next? • 2025 not enough water on the planet • Several wars were launched • A bottle of clean water was “a product #1” in terms of price
The UN Committee On Clean Water • Establishment of clean water reservations • The committee controlled the distribution of clean water on the planet. It imposed quotas.
Consequences • Our planet lost almost one third of its population because of the water crisis in 2020s
The new challenge • The population of Venezuela has grown by 40% for the last 7 years. • Not enough water. The country might not survive it this time.
What do we do? • Make use of our oceans • Build water pipelines • Stop contaminating water
