  3. Part 2 -- Laboratory Exercise (1/3) • (2a):Creating your Video Sequence • image17:suzie40.y,image18:suzie60.y • 在適當的位置填入你的程式碼 • 請用不同的 frame rate (fps) 觀察 video sequence • 可以試著用不同的係數內插,形成新的 video sequence,並比較新舊之間的 PSNR,那一種比較好。

Part 2 -- Laboratory Exercise (2/3) • (2b):Decimation and Interpolation of Video Frames in the temporal domain • 在適當的位置填入你的程式碼 • How does the video sequence look after decimation? • How close is the reinterpolated image to the original image for both image sequences (i.e. the sequence you created and the sequence I gave you.)? Express it by PSNRs . • 何謂 PSNR ? 寫出 PSNR 的公式並解釋它.

  5. Part 2 -- Laboratory Exercise (3/3) • (2c):Pyramid Decomposition in Time • 在 report 中說明原理 • 在適當的位置填入你的程式碼 • Describe how you would implement pyramid decomposition in the spatial domain (i.e. a 512x512 image).

  6. Part 3 -- Laboratory Write-Up • 請討論你在此作業裡看到的每種使用不同方法得到的 video sequence 有什麼不同,你得到什麼樣的結論。 • 如果你覺得程式碼無法表現出你要的結果,你也可以自己寫出自己的程式碼,讓它更完美。

  7. Attention • 作業須包含程式碼及報告兩部份,程式碼請在截止時間前 E-mail 給助教,報告請在 10/31(二) 以紙本交給助教。 • 程式碼請加入詳細的註解,範例程式只有部份解答,你還必需自行修正,當然也歡迎全部重新撰寫。 • 請務必確認 e-mail 為vap-ta@vaplab.ee.ncu.edu.tw,寄信時可設定要求讀取回條。 • 實驗室位置:R3-306, 分機:57969
