URRS Outcomes The anticipated outcomes of the URRS include: • aligning institutional targets with the URRS and providing feedback to institutions of higher education (IHEs) regarding promising practices to support attainment of institutional targets. • increasing efficiency by combining or aligning reporting .

  3. IHE Recruitment and Retention Institutions reported the following elements in the 2009 report: • IHEs partnership with high-need public schools, (e.g., Dual Credit) • pre-college academic outreach, (e.g., Summer Bridge programs) • application assistance (e.g., Admissions and Financial Aid) • strategic financial aid assistance (e.g., Work-study) • academic support program (e.g., Supplemental Instruction) • tutoring/mentoring program (e.g., Collegiate G-Force Mentors) • academic advising (e.g., high school and college students)

Recommendation for 2010 • Reviewers and IHE stakeholders recommended that the reporting form be revised for 2010 to capture additional promising practices to support attainment of institutional targets. • URRS Report requirement for 2010 is a brief statement of an IHEs recruitment and retention strategy and any promising practices.
