  2. Purpose of the URRS • Establish clear connection between URRS and attainment of institutional targets for participation and success • Use URRS data to analyze institutional needs related to program and/or facility requests

  3. Anticipated Outcomes of URRS • Aligning institutional targets with the URRS • Increasing efficiency by combining or aligning reporting documents • Evaluating URRS strategies based on cost and student participation and success • Providing feedback to IHEs regarding promising practices to support attainment of institutional targets

  4. URRS Review Procedures • Requested data to support recruitment and retention strategies • Required explanation of how strategies would be evaluated • Multiple reviews of each URRS were obtained

  5. URRS Review Procedures (continued) • Used external reviewers to analyze URRS documents. Examples: • Texas Association for Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO) • Texas Association of Institutional Researchers (TAIR) • Analyzing results of reviews to make recommendations to board in July

  6. Next Steps • Institutions will receive feedback from reviews • URRS will be modified as needed and aligned with other reporting documents • Staff will infuse URRS into RFAs, Perkins, and other funding options • Recommendations based on reviews will be brought to July Board Meeting
