Transitioning to Independence: Finding Purpose

In the freshmen and sophomore years of high school, students transition to independence and search for their purpose. This period involves learning to let go a little from helicopter parenting. Our school counseling services and resources help students navigate this transition, explore their interests and strengths, get connected with clubs and activities, and plan for their academic, college, and career goals using tools like Naviance.
