  2. Once upon • a time….. • ago …..

  3. from 3rd Oct to 25 Nov 1989, a group of 245 youths, young & vibrant, from 7 countries participated in the 16th Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program. Divided into 7 solidary groups A to G, this group of young people living together on board Nippon Maru sailing from Brunei to Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Japan, had mingled together forming a friendship.

  4. Going through the era of snail mail to internet, group mails to group webpages, facebook and twitter, mobile phones to smartphones, WhatsAppand LINE, lost & found and reconnected together again, this special bonding and friendship among the 89 buddies has grown throughout the years and continue to this day, 25 years later. STRONGER than ever!!!

  5. No longer young but still very young at heart, not as vibrant as before but can still do jump shots, this batch of 89 buddies have gone through the 10th reunion & 20th reunion, both in Singapore, 25th reunion (Part 1) in Brunei and NOW we take YOU from “HEARTBEAT’ to “HEART & SOUL” of SSEAYP 89 in BALI !!!!!

The “HEART & SOUL” of SSEAYP ‘89 Our Programme 6th December (Saturday) 07:00 Breakfast 08:30 Group Photo Session 09:00 - Showtime (Photo Montage) - Introducing New Country Songs 11:00 Leave reunion venue for Kuta Beach (on the way send EncikMansor to airport) 12:00 Lunch at local restaurant at Kuta - Shopping at local market 16:00 Head back to reunion venue 18:00 - Surprise 1 at Assembly Hall - Barbeque Dinner at poolside (KambingGuling) 20:30 Back to Assembly Hall for Badindin Dance, more songs, chit chat, etc. 23:00 Noodle & snacks party

The “HEART & SOUL” of SSEAYP ‘89 Cost…… A participation fee of USD140.00 will be charged for each adult participant and USD125.00 for child participant or or USD100.oo for extra bed in parents’ room; which covers the followings:- a) 4D 3N accommodation (twin sharing); b) 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches & 3 dinners; c) Surprises 1 & 2; d) tours to Kuta Beach and Ubud; e) souvenirs from Organizing Committee; f) airport transfers [exclude: laundry, telephone calls made from rooms, meals ordered from room service, items from minibars in rooms, porter tips at airport & hotels & reunion venue]

The “HEART & SOUL” of SSEAYP ‘89 Information needed from ALL Participants • Confirmed flight details (Flight no., arrival date & time, departure date & time); • No. of family members joining including ages of children (if any); • Submit info to Ito Herlimby email, WhatsApp or LINE before 10 November, 2014. NOTE: To bring a gift from your country not exceeding USD3.00 in value for gift exchange on Dec 7

The “HEART & SOUL” of SSEAYP ‘89 Don’t Forget to bring the followings: • Swimming suit/trunks, swimming caps & goggles; • (there is a swimming pool at reunion venue) • Thumb drives to copy MP3 songs & all photos taken; • (There is a song book for this reunion & there will be • new country songs. After reunion, you can play the songs • & refer to song book for lyrics) • Leave aside cash of Rupiah 200,000 (USD18) • per person to pay airport tax at Denpasar Airport • upon departure. • A gift not exceeding USD3.00 in value.

  22. PY Private Tours Option A: Dec 1 – 4 (full board with meals as indicated @ USD242 per person, on twin sharing) [minimal: 4 persons] Dec 1: Arrive in Bali & check in Adhi Jaya Hotel. Dec 2: Breakfast at hotel, check out & head to Tanah Lot, after that to CandiKuning market & Ulun Danu at Bedugul, Lunch at Bratan Lake + enjoy the Buyan n Tamblingan from the top, to Singaraja + Beji temple ( if time permitted ) & check in at Melka hotel at Lovinabeach. [dinner not included] Dec 3: Early wake up for dolphins watch (optional). Breakfast and check out from hotel Proceed to Kintamani, enjoy the Indonesian buffet lunch with spectacular views of Mt n Lake Batur, after that coffee break (try Luwakcoffee). Then to TirthaEmpultemple + paddy terrace & visit pasar& Palace of Ubud. Late check in at SaraswatiHotel or similar in Ubud. [dinner not included] Dec 4: After breakfast, check out & proceed to Batuan temple, lunch at Denpasar then to Uluwatu temple with the magnificent cliffs view. Around 1730 will be back to Adhi Jaya, check in and see the sunset behind the discovery mall with other PYs. [dinner not included] Dec 5: After breakfast, check out and move to our reunion venue and prepare to greet & meet arriving PYs………...

PY Private Tours Option B: Dec 4 - 5 (@ USD69 per person on twin sharing, single @ USD99 includes 1 night accomodation with breakfast, 1 lunch & 1 day tour) [minimal: 2 persons] Dec 4: Arrive in Bali & check in Adhi Jaya Hotel. Dec 5: After breakfast, check out (IPYs will bring all the luggages to venue). Proceed to Tanah Lot, lunch at Kuta, Padang2 beach and Uluwatu. Back to reunion venue around 5pm for Welcome dinner. Early Arrival on Dec 3 PYs arriving in Bali earlier on Dec 3, accomodation at Adhi Jaya Hotel @ USD65 per night for 2 inclusive of breakfast and extra bed @ USD30 per night inclusive of breakfast.

ADVICE FROM ORGANIZERS • We suggest DO NOT change Rupiah at Bali Airport. • Either change at home countries or at Kuta • as the exchange rate at airport is too low. • PYs with MAYBANK, OCBC, Standard Chartered, Citibank and other international banks accounts • can withdraw at ATMs in Bali with their respective • countries’ ATM cards at reasonable exchange rates.
