  3. Common Abbreviations • Awk→ Awkward: Need to change the language or wording. Does not read smoothly. • Frag → Fragment: Not a complete sentence. • Sp → Spelling: Check the spelling or spell something out. • Rep → Unnecessary Repetition: Can refer to a word, but also refers to ideas. • Conf./? → Confusing: Cannot understand the word or idea. • WC → Word Choice: Consider using a different word. • RO → Run-On sentence: Need to break into 2 sentences or fix punctuation.
