  2. Assignment Instructions • Create a color wheel identifying primary, secondary, and tertiary/intermediate colors. • Create or show use of tints, tones and shades.

  3. Be as professional as possible, you won’t get a second chance with this assignment • Don’t waste paint, don’t paint other people or things. If you spill clean it up immediately. • Work on this assignment in class, you will not be allowed to turn this in late. • Use professional lettering techniques to label each color, tint, tone, shade, and classification of each color. You may use blue tape so you have straight lines • This includes using only black sharpie to label. No pencil or colored marker.

  4. Step by step • Mark the end points of each line. • In pencil designate a shape to paint 1 red, 2 red/orange, 3 orange, 4 yellow/orange, 5 yellow, 6 yellow/green, 7 green, 8 blue/green, 9 blue, 10 blue/violet, 11 violet, and 12 red/violet

I will distribute the paint • I will give you red and yellow to begin. • Paint your red • You will be using some of this to mix your other colors • Rinse your brush • Paint your yellow • You will be using some of this to mix your other colors • Mix your orange out of the red and yellow • Make sure you leave enough orange to add more red to half of it and more yellow to the other half. This process will be repeated with yellow and blue Also with blue and red
