  1. End bench telescopes requirements Matteo Barsuglia, Christelle Buy APC 12 May 2010

  2. Three possible goals • Reduce arm-cavity beam for ISC (ISC requirements) • Inject auxiliary lasers (ISC requirements) • Send the Hartmann beam for the ETM HR scan (TCS requirements) ?

  3. ISC constraints • Photodiodes • how many? (2 quadrants, 2 longitudinal) • Which waists? Same photodiodes? • Gouy phase constraints ? • Aberrations constraints? • Science mode/lock-acquisition mode? (in aLIGO IR beams are (in any case, can be) dumped during science mode) • Auxiliary lasers • Yes/No? How ? Stability issues? • Stability requirements? In aLIGO there is a suspended - in-vacuum platform

  4. TCS • How inject/detect the Hartmann beams ? • aLIGO scheme (P.Willems)

  5. Present scheme • A lot of new component - Space issues?

  6. aLIGO telescope

  7. aLIGO « transmon » table
