  2. The time span this animal existed on Earth It lived in the Quatinarian period. Eurasian deposits were 150,000 years old. Lived until around 1,700.

  3. Related animals to the woolly mammoth • Elephants are related to the woolly mammoth.

  4. Fossil evidence • I went to la brea tar pits and they had fossilized mammoths in tar pits.

  5. Lived and became extinct • The woolly mammoth lived in the Quatinarian period. It became extinct in 1,700 B.C. It became extinct because of the ice age.
