  2. In a dolphin kick two legs do a concurrent whipping motion with feet pointed. This technique appears a bit like the tail movement, a dolphin employs to move forth, and so is the name. The movements of the legs are quite simple. However, it takes practice to incorporate them with the wave of the body .This swirl is started by your head and chest, moves down to your legs, where it shapes the dolphin kick.

  3. Here are the steps to do the dolphin kick • Put forward your chest a few inches downwards in the water and then free it. • Push your hips down in the water and then release them. • As your hips spin downward, let your thighs follow behind in the downward motion and let your legs bend slightly at the knees. • Then, as your hips move upward, align your legs to carry out a whipping movement. Let your upper legs follow along the hips upward. • Start the next cycle. Push your hips downward again. Your legs will follow along with some ease and your knees will bend slightly again during the downward movement of the hips.
