The District Report by ethnicity show 58.78% of the school population is African American. Therefore, the need to education our students are greater in our community. The time is now to bring about change through our FBC Learning and Christian Education Center. 4. Answering the CallOverview Large numbers of young people from aged 16 to 24 are either in school nor employed. One-third of American students become high school dropouts. Only half of all African American, Latino, and Native America students graduates from high school. When this occurs, young people face multiple negative consequences. Fifty-five percent of young adults without a diploma are employed, compared to 74% of high school graduates and 87% of four-year college graduates. Dropouts are 3.5 time more likely to be incarcerated than high school graduates and are much more likely to rely on public assistance than those with a high school diploma. The cost to the public of their crime and welfare benefits is estimated to total $24 billion annually in the United States. As Christian Leaders and Educators, we are faced with evangelizing to youth that are technological advance, but lack moral and Christian Ethics, little fear of man and God. How do we transform the youth way of thinking; while creating a Christ-Centered foundation? This answer lies in our hands. Conquering Communities for Christ. FBC
