Mrs. Federmeyer’s First Grade Class Suggested Supply List for First Grade All items will be shared- Please do not label 1-box of crayons (16 or 24) 6-large/jumbo glue sticks 1-highligter-any color Backpack (no wheels) 1-box of Kleenex 1-large container of disinfecting wipes 1-pkg. of 8 colored pencils Binder- 1inch 8-pencils 4 oz. Elmer’s glue (girls) snack sized bags (boys) Nutritional Snacks (crackers, dried fruit, trail mix, individual applesauce, pretzels) one thing from our wish list Small penny toys for weekly store (ex. pencils, dice, erasers, cards, pens, markers, chalk, bubbles) Dry erase markers-any color Colored copy paper-any color Cardstock-white Washable markers-assorted colors Gallon sized Ziploc bags • These supplies are donations but would be greatly appreciated and enhance the first grade program. 13/14

  2. May 2013 Dear TRCS parent, I would like to welcome you to Twin Rivers Charter School. I will be your child’s teacher this year. My name is Teresa Federmeyer and I am so excited to have your child in my class. I am really looking forward to meeting all of you and to starting off a successful school year. Let me tell you a little about myself. I am happily married and the mother of four children, three boys and a girl. My children sometimes visit which is always a highlight at school. I live in Grass Valley which is about an hour from TRCS. We have two pug puppies, Lola and Louie. I graduated and earned my teaching credential from Chico State. This will be my seventh year at TRCS teaching first grade. First grade is such an important year it is where students learn to read and it's the foundation for their school years. I love teaching at TRCS because of the wonderful community feel here, our wonderful principal and the great staff. I feel truly blessed to be teaching first grade at Twin Rivers Charter. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year at TRCS. Make sure to mark your calendars for Back to School Night to be held on August 12, 2013 at 6:00.
