Grievance Redressal Mechanism • In order to redress public grievances, School Education Deptt purchased Mobile Phone and kept at the office where any person who intents to know about MDM may contact by means of call or SMS. The same is proposed to develop gradually. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India

Community Participation • VEC’s have been entrusted with the responsibilities of implementation of MDM Schemes in their respective villages. • VECs are empowered for engagement of cooks. • VECs are authorized for procurement of materials. • PTA and mothers are actively participating in monitoring of the scheme.   24. Good practices • Sensitization and training of VEC members on matters relating to MDM were undertaken in all the districts. • Leaflets in local language were distributed to parents and guardians to acquaint them of MDM and related issues. Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
