  1. Once upon a time lived a beautiful girl, called Cinderella. Her stepmother and ugly stepsisters were very horrid to Cinderella. She had to stay at home all day, tidying and scrubbing the house.

  2. One day a messenger arrived at Cinderella’s house with an invitation for Prince Charming’s ball but her stepmother said that she was not allowed to go!

  3. Whoosh! Suddenly a fairy appeared!

  4. All of a sudden the fairy changed the pumpkin and the cat into a wonderful coach with a smart coachman and the two mice into magnificent horses! Cinderella’s rags disappeared and she was wearing the most beautiful dress she had ever seen. “Remember” warned the fairy, “the magic will end at midnight.”

  5. Cinderella was having such fun dancing with the prince that she forgot all about the time. Suddenly it was nearly midnight and Cinderella ran. The prince tried to chase after her but all he found was a shiny glass slipper.

  6. The prince went everywhere trying to find whose foot would fit the slipper. The ugly stepsisters tried to squeeze the slipper on but it would not fit. “May I try the slipper on” asked Cinderella quietly. The slipper fitted Cinderella’s foot perfectly!

  7. Cinderella and Prince Charming had a party and lived happily ever after.
