  8. Click to activate, or click the x to exit without activating

  9. Click on Appearance, and now Widgets

  10. These are the various options for your blog. Links places a sidebar on your page were you can put links to other sites Pages allows you to information on your site outside of the normal posts format

  11. If you want a widget, click and drag it over the section of our blog you want it to appear, it should look like this before you let go of the mouse. To allow a section of your blog to add a widget, click on the little arrow next to the text. This will give you a tan box like above where you can drag items

  12. Click here to view the changes you made to your blog

  13. Next click on the settings tab

  14. Click on general settings first, you can explore the other options while you wait for further instruction
