Even though Reading was the strongest subject area on the CRCT, there is a 6% decline in the African American population from 2013 to 2014. This change should be considered when planning for instruction.
While student scores on the Science portion of the CRCT need the most improvement, all demographic areas made gains from 2013 to 2014 as a result of an increased focus on science during the 2013-2014 school year.
