Work of the Transfer Subcommittee • Pre-preparations • Transfer Credit Assessment and problem solving with transfer credit issues • Selecting Orientation dates • Planning the schedule and the activities for the orientation day • Having a collective voice with Admissions on issues having to do with Admissions • Helping to recruit Transfer Orientation Guides (TOGS)

Student Outcomes – Benefits • Have a full schedule before they leave orientation • Know what transfer credits they have before they leave orientation • Trouble shoot problems with transfer credit • Get to know advisors and departmental representatives • Become familiar with institutional support services

VT Outcomes - Benefits • Advised approximately 85% of transfer students • Improved the process and efficiency of evaluating and awarding transfer credit • Approximately 75% of all transfer credit has been evaluated and awarded • Coordinated all support services • Developed strong network between other University Constituents • Received positive feedback from students • Achieved high level of student satisfaction
