  4. What arguments work • Stock arguments are often times the best ones to run • Unique links and unique arguments are very different things. (unique links will win you a lot more rounds • Unique arguments • Consider their placement, topicality, and believability

  5. Two point cases • Pro • Domestic/international • Political/economic • Status quo bad/ pro improves • Con • Doesn’t solve/ makes worse

  6. Intros and conclusions • Lay judges may like them • Keep them short • They waste time • Restating the resolution if you are the second speaking team is optional
